Payanké started in April 2024 in our younger brothers bedroom where we not so sneakily converted his room into our own "lab" when he was away. We discussed the idea of Payanké and immediately knew this was something we wanted to pursue, we went all in and the partnership was formed. We purchased a heat press and embroidery machine and went straight to producing tracksuits for our local football club.

Since then we started hustling in our local area of Bristol trying to convince anyone to let us make clothes for them whether it was sports teams looking for training apparel or local musicians looking for merchandise.

We then paid homage to our roots by creating our own football shirt dedicated to our island and all the residents of Mauritius and its diaspora. The overwhelming support from our community gave us a new source of motivation and gave Payanké a new reason for existing.

We are still very early in our journey and have dreams to open our own store and produce the official kits for Mauritius but that's a story for another day. We will update you guys as we learn but until then thanks for the support and keep checking back in on us.
